Short on time? The Super Shake is an excellent way to get everything you need in a healthy meal in less than 5 minutes. So many “green drink” recipes out there are loaded down with too much sugar. Here’s how to create a well balanced shake that contains minimal sugar and artificial ingredients, high quality protein, fruits and vegetables, fiber, and health fat:
- Start with a blender
- Pick a 4-8 ounces of a liquid
- Add 1-2 scoops of quality protein powder
- Add 1-2 handfuls of vegetables
- Add 1-2 handfuls of fruit
- Add 1-2 thumb size portions of healthy fat
- Add a topper
- Blend until smooth
- Enjoy a well balanced meal in a glass!
Need an example?
- 4 0z water
- 2 scoops Bullet proof whey
- 1 /2 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 banana
- 2 thumb sized portions of walnuts
- A sprinkle of cinnamon and 5-6 ice cubes
